Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in care planning and delivery.
- Monitor patient status, document care, and adjust plans as needed; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, patient safety protocols, and documentation standards.
- Clock in to the unit being worked when assigned as Float Pool staff, per policy.

Requirements
- Ability to provide ER nursing care and coordinate a patient care plan
- Capability to supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff across shifts
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
- Availability to work night shift (3x12 hours) on an assignment basis
- Ability to work in a hospital ER setting
- Willingness to follow Float Pool clock-in procedures and unit-specific requirements
