Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk receives materials from both internal and external suppliers. Responsible for the distribution of received materials to designated areas such as project shelves, departments, or project sites. Coordinates and participates in the transportation of materials between buildings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Offloading and loading shipments.
• Verify data on packing slips match product received.
• Inspect incoming product for damage, notifies proper personnel.
• Organize system build components on Job kitting carts.
• Manages the internal inventory stock area.
• Operate forklift (training provided).
• Observe safety procedures.

OTHER DUTIES

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Back-up for Logistics Coordinator (FedEx, UPS Shipping).
• Plan and prepare job kitting carts for new job.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School degree or GED, required
• 2 years' work experience required
• Previous receiving experience required
• Forklift experience required
