Supports manufacturability and ramp-up of products, and performs technical measures to complete respective projects, in cooperation with Industrial Engineers.

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a manufacturing technician interested in joining a small-team environment, supporting a life-saving tool in the support of cancer treatment. The right person for this job appreciates the camaraderie found in a small team, while enjoying the benefits and resilience of a global, industry leading company. This role will be best served by someone who is looking for stability, while enjoying the opportunity to voice their opinions on how to improve the operations and help implement these improvements. In a relatively small operation, flexibility is key to success and the best candidate will pick up skills quickly and will be eager to learn multiple processes, enjoying task flexibility on a regular basis.

Job Description:

• Completes manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups.
• Gathers, records and analyzes production information.
• Oversees use of machine control systems and their use in manufacturing equipment.
• Completes estimates of requirements arising from process changes.
• Resolves manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
• Accurately follow work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
• Able to stand for about 50% of shift
• Occasionally lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Typical Education and Experience : High School Degree or equivalent. 0 - 3 years of related experience.
