Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in a high-risk, high-volume labor and delivery unit.
• Perform the role of Baby Nurse during deliveries and manage newborn care post-delivery.
• Function as a circulator during cesarean sections and assist with high-risk and vaginal deliveries.
• Administer medications including Insulin, Heparin, and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocols.
• Provide postpartum and antepartum care, with the possibility of floating to sister facilities.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to clinical guidelines and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-acuity and fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
• Active RN license, compact license honored at Swedish facilities.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and electronic fetal monitoring.
• Ability to perform neonatal assessments and provide care including Vitamin K injections and newborn evaluations.
• Possess current supervisory references and proof of certifications upon submission.
