Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide clinical expertise in a mental health setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practice, with a focus on enhancing patients' quality of life through effective intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Support patients in improving daily living skills and achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy processes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current active State of Alaska Occupational Therapist Assistant License is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy in a mental health setting or a related clinical role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
