Field Technician

GeoSonics, Inc. , an industry leading construction consulting company specializing in pre‑construction home inspections, seismic monitoring and community outreach, is hiring a full‑time entry level Field Technician for our Raleigh, NC office. As a Field Technician, you will travel to various worksites—homes, commercial buildings and other structures—to conduct pre/post blast inspections, perform on‑site vibration monitoring, and manage installation, testing, repair and maintenance of service equipment. What You’ll Be Doing: Conduct detailed pre and post‑blast inspections of homes, commercial buildings and other structures Perform on‑site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining, quarry and construction operations Manage on‑site installation, repair, maintenance and testing Prepare reports Perform general office duties, including technical report writing, proofreading, and use of office machines and computer software (MS Office) Provide service and customer support during field visits Follow company procedures and protocol Build positive relationships with current and potential customers Anticipate and act to maintain a safe environment, incorporating safety and risk management standards into daily work practices What We Offer You: Comprehensive benefits are offered, including medical insurance (with spouse and family coverage), vision, dental, life and long‑term disability insurance, generous 401(k) contributions, profit‑sharing opportunities, paid holidays, vacation and mileage reimbursement.
