Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our critical care team for night shifts. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in PICU/NICU settings as well as the capability to care for adult patients in various respiratory therapy settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions according to established protocols.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and techniques, including ECMO, BiPAP, and invasive/non-invasive ventilation.
• Assist in emergency situations, including respiratory distress and critical care transport.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory health and therapy techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric and neonatal intensive care settings.
• Must be comfortable providing care to adult patients as well.
• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Experience with critical care respiratory therapy procedures and protocols.
