NDT Technician

Acuren is currently recruiting for Full Time Nested NDT Assistants to support our operations in Bellingham, Washington. Location Requirements We are currently seeking local candidates who are based in Bellingham, Washington (Whatcom or Skagit Counties) or within a 30‑mile radius from Bellingham. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role. Responsibilities Set up and utilize nondestructive test equipment. Assist radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment. Assist radiographers in conducting tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT inspection methods. Record results of inspections. Assist in performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and performing other related operations. Perform other job‑related tasks as assigned by management. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Some college education preferred. Technical background desired. Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as trustworthy and reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check. Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles. 40‑hour radiation safety training preferred (40RAD). Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one. IRRSP card.
