Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current, active South Carolina Teaching License required
• Both Special Education and Early Childhood degree certifications are necessary
• Multi-Categorical (Multi-Cat) endorsement required for relevant roles
• Experience supporting students in resource and self-contained settings preferred
• Skilled in adapting curriculum for diverse learning needs
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students in multi-categorical self-contained (K–2) and resource settings (K–8), according to assigned role
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and proactive classroom climate
• Track student progress and adapt strategies to maximize individual growth
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and school leadership
• Maintain all required documentation and participate in IEP meetings
