Senior IT Engineer (AI)

Iterable is a leading AI‑powered customer engagement platform. As a Senior IT Systems Developer (AI) you will build the connective tissue between AI platforms and our business systems. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, you will design and build integrations that enable teams across the company to use AI tools safely and effectively, connecting them to systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, and ADP. Responsibilities Design and build integrations between AI platforms and corporate business systems, including API development and workflow automation. Evaluate and operationalize AI tools as the company's needs evolve—starting with Gemini Enterprise. Manage GCP resources that support our AI environment—APIs, billing, project configuration, and access controls. Partner with Enterprise Security to support the “vibe coding” approval process, helping teams build AI‑assisted applications securely. Support IT infrastructure operations including certificate management, DNS administration, and Terraform‑based infrastructure‑as‑code practices. Qualifications Proven experience building integrations, automations, or tools that connect disparate systems. Professional experience working with APIs, scripting, and cloud platforms. Experience as an AI practitioner moving beyond prompting into building with AI tools. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical colleagues. Demonstrated ability to manage both creative development and steady‑state operational tasks. Preferred Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools. Experience with enterprise integrations involving Salesforce, Snowflake, or HRIS systems. Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or AI agent frameworks.
