Accounts Receivable Specialist

Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for an immediate opportunity with a growing Indianapolis-area organization. This position offers the chance to join a collaborative accounting team and play a key role in managing accounts receivable functions, customer account maintenance, collections, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment applications, and collections
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Maintain accurate account records and customer information
• Generate aging reports and assist with account analysis
• Work with customer portals and various billing systems
• Collaborate with accounting team members to support financial operations
• Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and special projects as needed
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding account inquiries and payment status

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience analyzing financial data and identifying discrepancies
• Ability to learn new ERP and accounting systems quickly
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer service and collections experience strongly preferred

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Fully onsite position
• Temporary-to-Hire

Compensation

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually
• Potential flexibility for highly qualified candidate

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
