MRI Technologist - 13-Week Contract Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (10:30 AM - 6:30 PM); Night shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will provide expert imaging services, ensuring high-quality images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment plans. The role involves working with patients across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, focusing on areas such as the abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, and musculoskeletal systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans with accuracy and in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Review and assess images for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with medical staff to discuss imaging results and patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient interactions.
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of MRI equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist required.
• ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT MR) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with GE and Siemens machines preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Traveler candidates must have previous travel experience; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
