Busser / Barback - Limelight Aspen - Winter

The Busser / Barback is responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant facility by clearing/wiping tables, stocking products, performing housekeeping functions and engaging with our guests to ensure their needs are met. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Essential job functions/key job responsibilities include: responsible for following designated opening/closing procedures for the restaurant, to include housekeeping functions for restaurant, bar, and restroom areas; ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock; complete side work duties to ensure the restaurant is ready for service; engage with guests, helping as needed to ensure their needs are met; clean and clear tables efficiently; maintain cleanliness of bus stations to include removal of trash, recycling, composting; move tables, chairs, bus stations to facilitate housekeeping; complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist elsewhere as business volumes and staff levels demand; other duties as assigned.

Education & experience requirements include: prior guest service experience is preferred; prior work experience in a restaurant is preferred. Knowledge, skills & abilities include: knowledge of company policies and procedures; understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively; proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers; proficient written and verbal communication English skills, Spanish a plus; ability to work under stressful circumstances; ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks; ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner; ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals.

Work environment & physical demands include: ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time; regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces; must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50).
