Job Title: QCM/SSHO

Location: fort Peck Dam, Montana

Job Type: Full-Time | 5-6 weeks project then; travel is needed after that to other locations)

Salary: $110000/Annum+ Vehicle Stipend ($500/Month) + Lodging + benefits

Job Summary:

Seeking a Dual Hat Quality Control Manager (QCM)/Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for a year-long federal construction project at Fort Peck Dam, Montana, starting (09/14).

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all project quality control and site safety activities in compliance with contract requirements, EM 385-1-1, and OSHA regulations.
• Develop and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP), Accident Prevention Plan (APP), and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Conduct daily inspections, safety audits, preparatory, initial, and follow-up QC inspections, and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate with the Owner,  USACE , subcontractors, and project team to ensure quality workmanship and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, lead safety meetings, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience serving as both Quality Control Manager (QCM) and Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) on construction projects.
• Active CQM certification and OSHA 30 minimum.
• Experience on USACE or other federal construction projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality control procedures and OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to prepare and maintain required QC and safety documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
