Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department nursing for a travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, TX. This role involves working in a dynamic 16-bed ER environment with a focus on stroke, STEMI, trauma, and psychiatric care. Nurses enjoy an engaging work environment equipped with a 24/7 cath lab.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources.

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• PALS (AHA only)
• TNCC
• RN License in state of TX or compact
