Requirements

• Required certification: ER
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required in Peds ED and Peds inpatient settings 2. Cases: Pediatric ED and Peds inpatient experience required; hybrid unit caring for infants through young adults 3. Certifications: Copy of certifications required at submission 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 7p-7:30a shift; every other weekend required (Sat/Sun); holidays required 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; first-time travelers not accepted 11. Background: Facility requires TABB background checks 12. Modules: Unit-based competency, medication and EKG testing required during compliance; 80% passing score; one attempt allowed 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Black pants with child-friendly scrub top or all black 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: RTLS badge required ($37.50 charge if lost/not returned) Critical: Must be fully vaccinated including COVID booster. Call off policy allows 1 shift per 2 weeks. Will not float outside ED but may float to Adult ED during low pediatric census if experienced.
