These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement and trust.Philanthropy Management, a department of Family Office Resources, supports individuals, families, corporate and private foundations, and non-profit organizations by offering a suite of services to help define and realize clients’ charitable missions.The Philanthropy Management Vice President plays a central role in advancing the department’s strategic priorities, client education, philanthropic advisory capabilities, and Morgan Stanley GIFT business initiatives. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with Philanthropic Platforms, Philanthropic Advisory, senior leadership, cross-functional business partners, and external service providers, the Vice President designs and manages programs, partnerships, communications, and operational workstreams that strengthen relationships with clients, Financial Advisors, and philanthropic partners.Program Strategy & ManagementDesign and manage flagship client education programs and donor collaboratives, including the team’s flagship client conference Exchange, the Next Gen Dynastic Cohort and the next gen investment club, as strategic engagement initiatives that deepen relationships with clients, Financial Advisors, and philanthropic partners.Lead and support strategic engagement initiatives, including Diversity Portfolios, that promote inclusive and sustainable approaches to giving, and enhance the client experience.Direct philanthropic programs and enterprise initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, clear project plans, stakeholder accountability, and measurable outcomes.MS GIFT Strategy & OperationsDrive business development initiatives that expand philanthropic capabilities and enhance the MS GIFT product offering, including the support and build of the ‘continuum of impact’ strategy through Morgan Stanley Inclusive and Sustainable Ventures and workplace charitable giving strategies in partnership with Morgan Stanley at Work.Manage cross-functional projects spanning governance, operations, marketing, impact reporting, and platform development in partnership with Legal, Risk, and Compliance.Support the MS GIFT Board of Directors and committee leadership by supporting governance processes, preparing and presenting board materials, tracking action items, and documenting key decisions.Partnership & Stakeholder ManagementCultivate and manage strategic partnerships with service providers and referral partners, including CapShift, Foundation Source and Integer, to expand philanthropic solutions and enhance client capabilities.Collaborate across Wealth Management, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and other business units to develop and execute cross-functional initiatives that improve products, services, and the client experience.Support the Family Governance consulting platform designed to help UHNW families address their human capital challenges.Marketing, Communications & Thought LeadershipSupport marketing and communications efforts for the firm’s philanthropic platform, including client-facing content, annual impact reporting, digital communications, conferences, and educational campaigns.Develop presentations, thought leadership materials, and strategic communications for senior leadership, clients, and industry audiences, including talking points, speaking event materials, articles, and annual conference content.Manage executive social media strategy and content development, including LinkedIn communications to elevate the department’s philanthropic brand and executive presence.Client Advisory & Philanthropic SolutionsSupport ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions on philanthropic strategy, governance, grantmaking, impact measurement, impact investing, and mission-aligned giving approaches.Develop innovative philanthropic solutions and educational resources, including giving guides and landscape surveys, that help clients achieve charitable and social impact objectives.Prepare client-ready charts, analysis, meeting materials, briefing documents, and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Conduct research, landscape scans, grantee due diligence, and data analysis to inform client recommendations and philanthropic strategies.General Business ResponsibilitiesTrack and report business metrics, program outcomes, client engagement activity, and initiative progress for senior stakeholders.Support responses to client, prospect, Financial Advisor, and partner inquiries, ensuring follow-up is timely, accurate, and aligned with business priorities.Maintain shared team resources, project trackers, reference materials, and document repositories to support efficient team operations.Experience5-10 years of relevant work experience.Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.Relevant experience in philanthropy, wealth management, nonprofit advisory, client strategy, program management, partnerships, marketing, communications, or a related client-facing field.Experience designing and managing strategic programs, client education initiatives, donor collaboratives, or enterprise workstreams.Experience preparing client-facing and senior leadership-facing materials, including presentations, briefing documents, thought leadership content, and analytical reports.Knowledge of the philanthropy sector, charitable vehicles (i.e., donor-advised funds) and mission-aligned giving approaches.Series 7 and 63, or ability to complete licensing requirements within required timeframe.Skills / AbilitiesStrategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong self-starter and team player with the ability to work individually and take ownership of workstreams.Experience working on lean, high-performing teams supporting seasoned executives.Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.Detail- and results-oriented individual with strong follow-through.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, Financial Advisors,
