Headache Neurology Opportunity in Miami, Florida

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), is seeking to employ a Headache Neurologist to join its well‑established program at the Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, performs over 1,500 surgeries each year and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, and includes experts in neurosurgery, non‑surgical spine care, pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro‑oncology, radiation oncology and neurology. Position Requirements and Expectations Full‑time opportunity. Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), be fellowship‑trained in Headache Medicine, and certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). Additional certification by the American Board of Headache Medicine is welcomed but not required. Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, an active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing. Ideal candidates will have in‑depth knowledge in the management, diagnosis, and treatment of complex headache and facial pain disorders, including performing interventional procedures, participating in interdisciplinary care, and conducting research. Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU); BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018 and most recently launched a 16‑resident neurology program at FIU in 2025.
