We're seeking a dependable Building Engineer to join a stable team supporting a Class A commercial property in Houston's Galleria area. What You’ll Do Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial building systems Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, drywall, painting, and general maintenance issues Complete work orders while maintaining a high level of quality and customer service Inspect building systems to ensure equipment is operating properly Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Respond to maintenance requests and assist with emergency repairs when needed Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as necessary Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation What We’re Looking For 3+ years of commercial building maintenance experience Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems Experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting repairs Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple tasks Strong customer service and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders as needed Preferred Qualifications Trade school training or technical certification Experience with building automation systems is a plus EPA Certification or other applicable trade certifications are a plus Why You’ll Love This Opportunity $56,000 to $60,000 annual salary Comprehensive benefits package Stable Monday-Friday first shift schedule Convenient Galleria location Long-term career opportunity with an established organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Professional Alternatives
