You will lead efforts to reduce non-conformances, mitigate customer returns, and mentor junior team members, all while supporting production, auditing, and corrective programs. Key Responsibilities Employ Six Sigma and lean methodologies to reduce scrap and rework Lead corrective/preventative action programs to eliminate defects and returns Develop training for operators, inspectors, and QA personnel Manage customer returns through material review and corrective actions Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective actions to meet quality standards Support customer audits and respond to corrective requests Select and train staff on product evaluation tools and software Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field Prior experience in aerospace or elastomer/plastics manufacturing preferred Strong working knowledge of QA standards and continuous improvement tools Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, communication, and multitasking Self-motivated with leadership qualities and a sense of urgency Bonus if you hold ASQ, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications Interested in hearing more?
