Job Description

We are seeking a Metal Grinder to process sheet metal parts and machined components using handheld angle grinders, bench grinders, and belt grinders. This role works from individual work orders and requires careful attention to surface finish, edge quality, and customer-specific specifications while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances, general tolerance control, or visual finish standards as required.

Responsibilities

• Grind metal components according to individual work orders and customer-specific specifications.
• Process sheet metal parts and machined components using handheld angle grinders, bench grinders, and belt grinders.
• Perform surface finishing, deburring, and edge smoothing.
• Maintain required dimensional tolerances and visual finish standards.
• Handle workpieces safely throughout the grinding and finishing process.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and applicable equipment procedures.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in metal grinding.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating bench grinders.
• Knowledge of abrasive wheel selection.
• Experience with deburring techniques.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity.
