The nurse will care for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and older). The role includes managing patients who are post-operative for joints, bariatric surgeries, gastrointestinal surgeries, and trauma. The nurse will work in a unit with a total of 23 beds. Patient ratios are approximately 4-6 patients per nurse. Candidates should possess good assessment skills. They must be hardworking and willing to ask questions when in doubt. Compassion and kindness are essential attributes for this role.
