Vascular Technologist

Role Overview Vascular Technologist performs comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams using various equipment and modalities, including ultrasound imaging. Responsibilities Conduct routine and complex vascular ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols. Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness, ensuring proper documentation. Critique imaging quality by assessing positioning, technical factors, and alignment. Cross-train in other divisions of cardiovascular services and rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve diverse patient needs. Maintain proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients. Communicate findings accurately to physicians to aid diagnosis and treatment. Participate in rotating call duties during holidays, nights, and weekends. Qualifications & Skills Certifications required include BLS (AHA), RVS (CCI), and RVT-VT (ARDMS). An associate's degree in sonography is necessary.
