Job Description
Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule. Possible shift times include 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Weekends are not required.

Assignment Details

40 hours per week guaranteed. Contract length is not specified.

Requirements

• Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior oncology/infusion outpatient experience required.
• Familiarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy infusions and perform port draws, typically 6 infusions and 1-2 port draws daily.
• Ensure safe and effective administration of medication to oncology patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality care and support to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for oncology treatments.
