Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Mid Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 31, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention for emergency department patients
• Obtain and monitor patient vitals and perform ECGs
• Administer IV therapy and operate unit equipment including IV pumps, EV 1000, EKG machines, and ultrasound machines
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 in a 40-bed emergency department
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, Paramedics, and EMTs across shift rotations
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (current)
• ACLS certification (current)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (current)
• PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications (current)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Team-oriented, motivated, and experienced emergency department nursing background
