Job Responsibilities Maintain a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co‑workers. Maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner to protect safety and health of others and comply with preventive maintenance procedures outlined in department policy. Inspect and use judgment to determine which cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines to follow. Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by supervisor. Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies as required. Employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio‑hazardous materials. Keep cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensure all chemicals are accurately labeled and all equipment is in good working condition. Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times. Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department. Commit to professional growth and competence through adherence to component and departmental training commitments. Qualifications Past cleaning experience preferred. Attention to detail. Effective communication with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff. Ability to respond effectively to changing demands. Physical Demands This role may require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing, and the use of a uniform and/or personal protective equipment (PPE).
