Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our growing Solid Rocket Motor Engineering Team. The Senior Project Engineer will lead and coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting and troubleshooting across multiple programs. Leads an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to design, develop, manufacture, and deliver products. Works with engineering management to plan, staff, and execute projects of all sizes. Serves as engineering interface to program management, senior leadership, and the customer community. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost. Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems. Provides technical support for the engineering process. Designs, implements, and communicates, an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project. Prepares engineering designs and work specifications. Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experienceDiscipline/Major: Engineering degree requiredCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's DegreeKnowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Travel Requirements Up to 25% travel likely. Pay Range (USD) $95/k-$125/k Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
