Mott MacDonald is searching for an Engineer with experience in water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects to join our established water sector team in our FL offices. In this role, you will serve as the project manager on large, complex projects and lead the technical development of proposals. Responsibilities Complete preliminary and detailed engineering design and associated documents on a variety of projects with water, wastewater, and water treatment collection distribution projects and other civil projects such as stormwater and site grading Prepare planning and design documents, cost estimates, calculations, project drawings, and technical specifications in coordination with project managers, project engineers, CAD drafters and other disciplines Serve as a task/discipline lead or project manager for heavy civil projects Conform to client and company standards for document and drawing preparation Conduct internal coordination meetings and provide substantial support for client meetings Work with team to ensure deliverables are executed with technical accuracy, on time and within budget Ensure formal QA/QC reviews are performed for each project one is responsible for Assist with various construction phase office support activities including review of RFI's and submittals, and participate in field work including construction observation activities Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar) 1-3 years of project experience for municipal and/or private development related to design and design review of: water/wastewater, storm, reclaimed water systems including water and stormwater piping, or sanitary sewers Professional Engineer license in Florida is preferred Strong technical background in stormwater design and planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling Desired Computer skills: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including technical report writing Enthusiastic, dependable, self-starter, who is organized and able to work effectively with minimal supervision Benefits & Reward At Mott MacDonald, our employees have a stake and a voice in our business, providing them with a direct connection to our success through our personal and group performance bonuses.
