We are a rapidly scaling, family-owned business seeking an experienced Accountant to lead our financial operations. Working directly with ownership, you will own the entire accounting function, ensure razor-sharp accuracy, and help drive our strategic expansion. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role for a confident professional who takes pride in their work and wants to be a key partner in our long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations Ownership: Drive all end-to-end accounting functions—including AP/AR, invoicing, general ledger entries, and monthly/annual close processes—ensuring bulletproof accuracy.
• Cash Flow & Reconciliations: Perform precise bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, actively tracking receivables and optimizing cash flow management.
• Process Engineering: Audit existing accounting workflows to identify inefficiencies, implement modern internal controls, and build scalable procedures as we grow.
• Strategic Reporting & Insight: Build and maintain clean, reliable financial reports that give leadership complete visibility into profitability and performance.
• Direct Executive Partnership: Work side-by-side with ownership as a trusted advisor, resolving complex accounting issues and supporting long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven Track Record: Solid professional accounting experience with direct ownership of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong mastery of GAAP, advanced Excel (data analysis, modeling, pivot tables), and proficiency in accounting software ( Sage 50 experience is a major plus ).
• Autonomous Problem-Solver: Demonstrated ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and resolve financial discrepancies with minimal supervision.
• Analytical Precision: High attention to detail combined with the organization needed to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
