Before becoming an agent, I worked as a State Farm team member, and I've always been passionate about developing people and helping them build successful careers. I'm a graduate of the University of South Carolina, a proud husband and father of three, and enjoy fishing, hiking, and traveling with my family. Investing in our community is just as important as investing in our team. I'm actively involved with the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce, serve on the boards of Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio and the Massillon Museum, and volunteer every Friday at Jackson High School mentoring students through the Junior Achievement entrepreneurship program. ROLE DESCRIPTION As an Account Representative for Robert Garner - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs. Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations. QUALIFICATIONS Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred. Experience in managing customer relationships preferred. Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs. Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
