Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' needs and mental health conditions to effectively identify problems and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to support clients in overcoming challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring compliance while tracking client progress.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including educators and medical professionals, to ensure holistic care and advocacy for clients during and outside of therapy sessions.

• Provide education and resources to clients and families, empowering them with the tools needed to cope with mental health challenges and navigate their journeys effectively.

• Stay informed on advancements in mental health practices through ongoing education, participation in workshops, and contributing to team discussions on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of New York is required for this position.
