Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse (Circulate/Scrub) – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Evening rotating shifts, 40 hours per week with flexible combinations of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts (Monday-Friday); call as needed; weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• Work in a premier cancer hospital recognized nationally for quality patient care and nursing excellence with Magnet designation
• Diverse surgical case mix including neuro, thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, oncology, free flaps, and robotics (Da Vinci)
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Flexible scheduling options: four 10-hour shifts, five 8-hour shifts, or combination of 2 eight-hour and 2 twelve-hour shifts (schedule varies based on unit needs)
• Shift options include 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM
• Call shifts available during evening (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), night (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), and weekend hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Strong circulating and scrubbing skills preferred with proficiency rated 3-4 in neuro, thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics procedures
• Oncology experience preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
