Reporting to the Manager Financial Planning and Analysis - US Commercial, this position is responsible for supporting the LBE/Planning process, and leading certain aspects of the process. The position will also identify/assess/implement process improvements, lead projects, assist with senior management highlights and reporting as well as support an array of ad-hoc FP&A activities for US Commercial Leadership team. Some of the highlights of the position are support to the Division Vice President, the Controller, and other Commercial leaders.What You’ll Work On Partner with Commercial leaders to develop Sales, P&L, and Cash Flow forecasts, and perform revenue and pricing analysis to identify growth opportunities and underperforming segments.Support and organize the LBE/Plan processes: create financial templates, coordinate processes across other functions (Commercial, Contracts & Pricing, Operations, and customer support), consolidate financials, ensure timely and accurate submissions to Division FP&A and US Commercial leadershipCoordinate and Prepare LBE ConfirmationsSupport preparation of executive level presentations for internal and external reviewsPrepare and analyze Cash Flow statement and other Balance Sheet forecast analysisAnalyze customer deal proposalsManage Service revenue recognitions, deferrals, and projections.Responsible for hospital/distributor rebate payments, accruals, and reconciliationsCoordinate and prepare IBP cycle monetization and submissionsActively support various ad-hoc financial requests – division, corporate, investor relations including financial modeling with extensive use of ExcelSupport/perform timely and accurate actual reporting and variance analysisEnsuring accurate tie outs between the different reporting toolsAssist in identification and implementation of process improvementsParticipating in ad-hoc projects at management requestsRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in FinanceMinimum 4 years of combined Finance/Accounting experience is required.Strong analytical, problem solving, variance analysis skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and with senior managementEffective communication, soft skills and prioritization of assignmentsProficient in Microsoft Office Applications (mainly Excel and Power Point)Preferred QualificationsExecutive presentation experience desirableProficiency in HFM, TM1, and SAP is a plus.APPLY NOWLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
