Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized radiologic services in the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Lab to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment during day shifts with on-call responsibilities. Ensure high-quality imaging and procedural support for pediatric and adult patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Pediatric Cath Lab, including balloon angioplasty, stent placement, valve interventions, and biopsies.
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently, ensuring optimal visualization and patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to prepare patients and manage procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures using EPIC or other charting systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with certification standards.
• Participate in emergency response and storm teams as required, supporting hospital readiness.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least one year of catheterization laboratory radiologic experience, preferably in pediatric or trauma settings.
• Possess valid national certifications including PALS, BLS, and ACLS from AHA.
• Maintain a radiation badge and submit proof of compliance.
• Certified through CCI with RCIS/RCES or meet ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) credentials.
• Hold an active South Carolina RN license or demonstrate pending licensure.
• Be flexible to work day shifts with on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays.
