Job Duties

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living capabilities
• Join Forces with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate and Empower Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to support recovery at home
• Track Progress and Modify Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans to ensure patients remain on track towards their goals

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is a must
