Sr Packaging Engineer

What the Client Is Looking For:
An experienced Senior Packaging Engineer with 7 years of experience developing and improving packaging solutions in manufacturing food consumer products or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop test validate and launch new packaging solutions.
Strong expertise in plastic injection molding mold design and tooling.
Experience with flexible packaging paperboard corrugated packaging and labels.
Manage packaging specifications BOMs testing and validation.
Improve packaging quality production efficiency sustainability and cost.
Work with suppliers manufacturing quality and procurement teams.
Support packaging equipment installation troubleshooting and new product launches.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Packaging Mechanical Industrial Engineering or a related field.
7 years of packaging engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with plastic injection molding and tooling.
Knowledge of packaging materials testing and commercialization.
Experience with packaging optimization software such as CAPE or TOPS.
Familiarity with artwork management systems such as Esko WebCenter.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Preferred: Knowledge of FDA FSMA GMP food safety Lean Six Sigma and sustainable packaging.
In simple terms: The client needs a senior packaging engineer who can develop and launch packaging has strong plastic injection molding and tooling experience and can improve packaging quality cost and manufacturing efficiency.
