CVOR RN

The CVOR RN will provide specialized nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room. The position requires a thorough understanding of cardiac surgical procedures. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning care, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. Candidate must have experience with procedures such as coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), mitral valve replacement, and atrial septal defect repair. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration with the surgical team. The role involves adherence to protocols for infection control, safety, and specimen handling. Candidates should be prepared to work a rotating on-call schedule and may float to different areas as needed. The position offers opportunities to further develop skills in a fast-paced environment. It is essential to comply with all protocols and standards within the unit.
