This is a full-time position located near Reston VA. Now hiring!What You Will Be Doing:Designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)Conveying technical designs, ideas and results to non-technical audiences and providing briefings to government personnel.Skills & Qualifications:Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning.Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking.Must understand commercial encryption standards and their application in IP networking.Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP MulticastingMust have strong written and oral communication skills.Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent analysis and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently as well as within small and large groupsCapable of preparing and presenting briefingsExperience with Microsoft Office product line, including Microsoft AccessTravel may apply (up to 10%); subject to needs of the businessDesired Skills:Customer Enterprise experience is highly desired.Knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) technology.An ability to navigate and configure Linux operating systemsAn understanding of RF transport mediums to include cellular, microwave, and satellite communications.An understanding of wired data transport mediums to include Category 5e/6 and fiber optics.An understanding of EAP-TLS certificate based encryption and RADIUS authentication.Prior deployment to hostile areas in support of customer missionPrior experience communicating official traffic in the customer Electronic Messaging System (EMS)Certifications such as CCIE and MCSEFamiliar with military communicationsExperience with Lotus NoteAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.At MAXISIQ, inclusion drives innovation.
