Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Based in Greensboro, NC, you'll operate OTR dry-van lanes nationwide, transporting freight safely and on schedule. HMD provides strong mileage pay starting at 65¢/mi, typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles, and performance bonuses for safety and clean inspections.

What you'll do:

• Safely operate dry van tractor-trailers on long-haul runs across states.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch to manage routing, ETA updates, and deliveries.
• Secure cargo and follow all federal and state DOT regulations.

Qualifications & equipment:

• Valid CDL-A with at least 12 months verifiable experience.
• Modern tractors (under 3 years) with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus in-house maintenance support.
• Home approximately every two weeks and access to full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
