Mechanic C Tech

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. This position requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repair. Principal Responsibilities Maintain a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions. Perform maintenance tasks such as vehicle PM inspections and adjustments; oil changes and fluid replenishment; adjustments and light repairs including tire changes; basic electrical work such as light bulb changes; and conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools. Complete applicable company training programs. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent. Qualifications Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required. Valid driver's license is preferred. Pay: US$21.90–$31.45 per hour + weekly overtime and paychecks + competitive benefits. This is a safety sensitive position. Pay Range The pay range for this position is US$21.90 to $30.07, which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
