Summary

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for engaging with dealers, customers, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach to customer/dealer outreach and your technical proficiency will be key in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be expected to professionally handle internal and customer-related issues, which may involve collaboration with other departments.

Requirements

1. Customer Engagement

• Initiate and maintain regular contact with dealers and customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, providing timely and accurate information about our high-performance auto parts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and trust.

2. Technical Support

• Utilize your technical expertise to address customer questions and concerns about product features, compatibility, and performance.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to customers to help them select the right products for their specific needs.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Sales Outreach

• Proactively reach out to potential customers/dealers to introduce our products and services, highlighting their unique features and benefits.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing customer/dealer accounts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.

4. Software Utilization

• Utilize Outlook for effective communication, collaboration, and document management.
• Use of Magento for managing customer accounts, processing orders, and tracking sales activities.
• Utilize SAP for order management, inventory tracking, and reporting to ensure efficient operations.

Any other tasks deemed necessary by your supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or related field.
• Strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of high-performance auto parts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
• Proactive attitude with a strong drive to succeed and exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Magento, and SAP.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
