Outreach Engagement Specialist Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with two (2) years of experience working in human services.
• Case management and/or outreach experience with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse preferred.
• Lived experience, peer-support certification, and similar work experience in lieu of college degree acceptable.

This position is responsible for providing intensive outreach and engagement services to high-need unsheltered individuals and families within the City of Columbus including linkage to appropriate community resources. The right candidate will have a passion for working with the unhoused population, an understanding of the challenges faced by this population, and knowledge of local resources. This is a collaborative project with Southeast Healthcare and funded by the City of Columbus.
