Job Description
Lead a team that changes lives every day! We are hiring a Nurse Manager for our Heart Transplant and VAD clinic. Where expertise, innovation, and compassion come together!

M-F 8a-5p
Flexibility needed
BSN required
2 years applicable experience required
2-3 years managing a physician practice or ambulatory nursing preferred.
Transplant experience preferred
Prior Cardiac experience as an RN strongly preferred.
Prior management experience strongly preferred
The Work:
This nurse manager will be responsible for approximately 30 staff members. Which includes hiring, training, staff scheduling and performance review and management,
Nurse manager will work directly with providers for clinical support.
Models the SLHS Leadership competencies and core values including professionalism, innovation, adaptability, independent judgment and solid decision making skills.
Accountable for the development implementation and evaluation of the care provided in the clinic consistent with the established strategic plan goals and objectives for Patient Centered Care.
Works in collaboration with nursing leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes.
Supports optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical and biological sciences that utilize the nursing processes.
Drives employee engagement and retention.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient centered and healing environment.
Maintains all clinical competencies if required due to size and structure of the clinic and may occasionally be counted in staffing.
