Student Success Facilitator

The Recruitment and Retention of Alaska Natives and American Indians in Nursing (RRANN) Student Success Facilitator is a position designed to support Alaska Native and American Indian students pursuing a nursing degree at UAA. Key Responsibilities Developing long‑term relationships with students, providing listening and encouragement, offering practical steps toward their goals, managing student needs, coordinating online platforms, maintaining spreadsheets and data, and organizing events such as Social Circles, Gatherings, and Information Sessions. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree and one year experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in nursing. Degree in another field with a Health, Education, or Social Welfare emphasis will be considered. Position Details This is a full‑time, non‑exempt staff position with a competitive salary and a full employee benefits package. The salary will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
