Title: Donor Events Coordinator — Part-time Reports to: Donor Events Manager About the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra: The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO) stands as one of Texas’s leading cultural institutions and one of the most artistically vibrant regional orchestras in the United States. Description: Working directly with the Donor Events Manager, the Donor Events Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of fundraising and donor engagement events designed to generate revenue, enhance donor relationships, and raise awareness of the organization’s mission. This individual will provide administrative office support, as well as day‑of‑event support. The ideal candidate is organized and detail‑oriented, with strong customer service skills, artistic flair, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Help with planning, coordinating, and executing donor events, including Opening Night Weekend and the Annual Gala. Maintain event calendars, timelines, check lists, guests list, and other related event documentation. Prepare and inventory event materials such as signage, decor, supplies, etc. Coordinate with event vendors to ensure deliverables and timelines are on track. Support event communications, including coordination with the marketing department and follow‑up with donors and guests. Help coordinate event set‑up, breakdown, and staffing. Organize related files, including event photos, final guest lists, vendor materials, and other records for future reference. Respond to donor and prospect inquiries and provide exceptional donor service. Update attendance numbers in the Elevated Events module in Tessitura, the FWSO’s donor CRM. Provide additional administrative support as needed. Responsibilities: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, with CRM experience a plus Previous event, hospitality, customer service or retail experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent customer service skills and phone manner. Strong artistic flair and appreciation of design and decor. Able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. Must possess discretion, professionalism, and the integrity to work with confidential donor information. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least two years of development experience – ideally in the arts. Knowledge of common fundraising strategies. Experience with donor database management, especially Tessitura. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work that primarily involves being stationary up to 75% of the time.
