Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Weekdays and Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
• Manage a patient assignment of 5–7 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Accurately document all patient care activities and assessments using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Adhere to unit attendance expectations, maintaining consistent and reliable shift coverage throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Cerner modules specific to Med Surg workflows
