About the Position

Job Title: Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology Technician Specialty: Radiology Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred Certifications: BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must maintain current; ACLS required within 30 days of hire Must-Have: - Cath lab experience required - Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred - Proficient computer skills Description: On-call required. Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 8 AM to 4:30 PM, 5 days a week. Cardiac Cath Lab Technician that performs Interventional and Cath Lab Radiology. Workdays consist of 8-hour shifts with rotating call every two days a week and one weekend per month. Under the general direction of a physician, assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for each procedure. Monitor the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, as well as the training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
