TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified LTAC RN in Hazard, Kentucky, 41701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current LTAC experience required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: - MS/Tele or ICU experience - Float within scope of practice required - Every other weekend required - Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted - Medical and religious exemptions approved on a case-by-case basis Description: This position is for a 1x 13-week contract. Extension will not be approved. Only local candidates will be accepted and must live within 75 miles of the facility. Work ratios can fluctuate with patient census and call ins. Staff will work on a schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period unless noted otherwise. Orientation is bi-weekly. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Travelers must accept an 84-hour schedule over two weeks, consisting of one week with 3 shifts and the following week with 4 shifts. RTO considered up to 7 days, presented up front, with no changes accepted. Must work either a major or minor holiday. Two references are required; one supervisor reference and one from a charge nurse or higher. Background checks must be submitted with any license hits or issues upfront. After one year, travelers must take a minimum of 6 months off before being eligible to return. All candidates must have two years of specialty experience to be considered. Resumes must include copies of certifications.
