Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums EmergencyMedicine Physician to provide ongoing coverage in Stuart, Florida. This is anexcellent opportunity to join a well-supported emergency department with a lowadmission rate, manageable patient volume, and flexible day and night shiftavailability.
Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: Ongoing through June 30, 2027
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Availability: Day and Night (AM/PM) coverage
• Practice Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
• Coverage Model: Single physician coverage

• ED Beds: 10-11
• Patient Volume: Approximately 0.5-2 patients per hour
• Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics
• Patient Acuity: Primarily ESI Level 3 and 4, with occasional Level 2 patients
• Admission Rate: Approximately 2-3%

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Provide emergency stabilization and management for pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, radiology, consultants, and ancillary services to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current DEA registration.
