Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care within the specialized unit. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3 nights per week; 12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0730, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in MD or a Compact state; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; at least 0 years of experience, with 2 years of experience preferred; experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, airway assessment, patient management in PACU or equivalent critical care settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in PACU or critical care units; familiarity with Epic charting system; previous PACU charge experience preferred.
• Floats: May be required within the specialty, including to sister hospitals, as needed.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating across various PACU settings without restrictions. RTO requests are limited to 7 days, with additional considerations for consecutive days and major holidays scheduling.
